Fred Ackerman is an accounting and audit partner at Anchin. With over 20 years of experience, Fred serves the accounting, business and financial needs of companies in many industries, including construction, oil and gas, and real estate. He is the primary partner serving energy-related companies. He also works with some of the largest construction companies in the region. Fred's clients range from aggressive growing companies to well-established companies, and he has assisted many clients in mergers and acquisitions, tax audits, and securing financing. Fred is a part of the firm's cost segregation consulting group.

Fred is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
